Horses Birthday Markets Tomorrow

TOMORROW’S Scone Country Markets in will have special flare celebrating the horse’s birthday and the special place it takes in the Upper Hunter Valley.

The usual markets will be on from 12pm to 4pm with additional activities to celebrate the occasion with pony rides, a cake for the horses that will be cut at 2pm and other games.

Jo Fernandes of Open Space Events will be taking some of their trail riding ponies to the markets for the occasion.

“It is nice to support the work of Jan Sinclair and the Upper Hunter Country brand, the horse is part of the spirit and tourism of this area, so it’s great to celebrate them in such a community focused way,” Jo Fernandes said.
