Help for Hampers this Christmas
THE Scone Neighbourhood Resource Centre is putting together Christmas hampers and needs some of Santa’s helpers with the finishing touches.
“Every child on our list will receive a presents wrapped in love from one of the most generous communities that I am proud to be a resident of,” said Mrs Watts.
“But our pantry is in short supply for the festive season as we try to put together much needed Christmas hampers,” she said.
“All hampers will go to individuals and families that would definitely not have the luxury of something special on Christmas Day.
“Thanks you to the local business, organisations and the community that have donated many beautiful gifts.
“If you are in a position to add that extra item to your grocery trolley we would truly appreciate your support,” she said.
“This service has been very fortunate in receiving food donation throughout the year from a very generous community,” she said.
“I hope you can again extend that generosity,” Lee Watts said.
Items can be taken to the Scone Neighbourhood Resource Centre at 130 Liverpool Street, Scone.
