Guide to New Business

Filed in Recent News by October 26, 2017

PEOPLE with an idea, passion or hobby they would like to turn into a business can take advantage of a free service next month to get them started.

Cheryl Royle, entrepreneurship facilitator for the Hunter region, will be holding a seminar in Scone to help people get their business idea off the ground.

“The information sessions help to identify what people need to consider and if someone wants to start up a business I can help,” said Ms Royle.

“I like to focus on youth 18 t 24 year olds, but the program is open to everybody,” she said.

“People starting up photography businesses through to dog walkers, you name it anybody who’s really got a bit of an idea but doesn’t know how to get that idea to come to fruition,” she said.

“We connect people to different support services which are around, also funding opportunities and other workshops we might be holding that would help small business owners,” she said.

“The service is free so it is a great opportunity to explore it,” Cheryl Royle said.
