Grandest of Designs

COLIN Davis, renowned British architect, knows a grand design when he sees one and will be in Scone tomorrow night to show creations of Dame Zaha Hadid, who he rates as a superstar in the field.

Mr Davis is the Professor of architectural theory at London Metropolitan University and popular media spokesperson on architecture and will tell the story of Hadid’s designs and career, who was born in Iraq and by the age of 65 had a global reputation for visionary projects.

The Scone branch of the Australian Decorative Fine Arts Society (ADFAS) is excited to have such renowned speakers visiting and welcome everyone to attend, enjoy some good company and some light refreshments.

This lecture will be held at the Council Chambers in Scone, while the Arts and Crafts Hall is holding the Scone Art Prize Exhibition.
