Veteran’s Golf: September 25

THIRTEEN vets played a stableford event at Murrurundi Golf Club – always a pleasure – on a beautiful spring morning and with lots of harmless repartee as usual, on Tuesday, 25^th Sept.

Tommy Thompson blitzed the field with 43 points, from starter and orderer of the lunch pies John Norman 2^nd with 38, and Doug Roche 3^rd 35.

Balls went to Brian Dever, Captain Phil Ledgerwood and George Campbell all on 34.

The Bradman trophy, kindly donated by Gary Morley was won by Red Palmer.
