Godolphin Donates To Scone Neighbourhood Centre

MAJOR thoroughbred player Godolphin, have made a generous donation to the Scone Neighbourhood Resource Centre today, with funds going towards supporting Scone’s most vulnerable.

Lee Watts Manager of the Scone Neighbourhood Resource Centre, is very excited to receive the donation and thanked Godolphin for “recognising and supporting our communities most vulnerable”.

“We are always grateful for any donation, so having a donation from Godolphin, the largest thoroughbred racing stables and breeding operations in the world, is really exciting,” Lee said.

“The Neighbourhood Centre have the programs in place but we rely on the generosity of the community, businesses and successful grants to bring many activities to fruition,” she said.

“Without support, such as this generous donation from Godolphin, we would not be able to provide the many services and programs we do,” she said.

“This donation will go towards many services that assist vulnerable members of our community such as, ‘The Pantry’, ‘Morning Bites’ Breakfast van and deliveries we make to those isolated in their homes,” said Lee Watts.
