Free Tennis Coaching in Scone

DEAN Trembath and his team from Sydney will be hitting the tennis courts in Scone teaching people how to become better at the game, or join the game.

The coaching is free, thanks to the Scone Hardcourt Tennis Association being given $10,000 from the ANZ Tennis Hot Shots program and for all members of the community.

Free Tennis Coaching

• What: Free 1 hour coaching sessions with Dean Trembath, Gavin Yip and Jay Andrijic from Inside the Lines Tennis Academy. Groups can be registered and private lessons are also available, once groups have been accommodated.
• Who: People all ages and stages of tennis are invited to the free coaching, from beginners to seasoned players.
• When: Sundays: 8am-3pm: July 28, August 4, October 20, October 27;
• Where: Scone Tennis Courts, Scone Park, Hill Street, Scone;
• Register: Children under 6 years of age – up to four players; Children over 7 years – up to six players and Adult group up to four players. Private lessons are also possible after groups are accommodated. Sign up online: Free Sunday Coaching.

Tennis Camp

Dean will also be running a tennis camp during the school holidays with lots of fun games and prizes for children to improve their game.

• When: Monday, July 15 until Thursday July 18. Coaching: 9am-12pm. Match play: 12:30pm-3pm.
• Where: Scone Tennis Club, Scone Park, Hill Street, Scone.
• Cost: $20 per day or $70 for the four days for coaching. Students of appropriate standard can attend match play for free. Or children can just do match play for $10 per day on Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday.
