First Chance to See Antiques
TICKETS for the opening night of the Scone High School antiques and collectables weekend are now available.
Raelee Smith, president of Scone High School’s parents and community committee said they are excited about the range of antiques which will be on offer.
“The VIP Night at the Scone High School MPU will give people the first opportunity to see what will be on sale throughout the weekend,” said Ms Smith.
“We will be providing guests with delicious canapes and drinks supplied by our sponsors Hunter Belle Cheese, Pukara Estate and Two Rivers Wines,” she said.
“There will be an opening address from former student Lauren Goode and a lucky door prize up for grabs.
“Vendors from all around Australia will be in attendance with a wide variety of antiques and collectables including furniture, jewellery and vintage china,” she said.
“We think the local community will find some great things on offer and hope that we great a nice crowd throughout the weekend,” Raelee Smith said.
Vendors include Ian McClenaghan Antiques, Albion Antiques, Old Bar Antiques and Curios, Mudgee Antiques, Kinnear’s Fine Australian Antiques, From the Heart, Margot Edwina Rees Antiques, East West Collectibles and Simple Décor.
All money raised on the weekend will go towards much-needed air-conditioning for the school.
