Finalist Again for Chamber

THE Scone Chamber of Commerce has announced that they have succeeded for the third year running in being a finalist in the Hunter Business Awards.

President of the Chamber Ben Wyndham is honoured that the full volunteer board is able to achieve this level against other full time boards in the running.

“That we have been finalists three years running is a tribute to the hard work done by the all-volunteer board, other business chambers nearby have full-time staff and major corporate sponsors so to get this far is a great honour, Ben Wyndham said.

“Recognition is due to Jane Callinan, Steve Guihot and Garry Gilkeson who have stepped forward to take the executive roles and make sure the Chamber continues to grow and support local businesses,” said Ben Wyndham.
