Festival Fun For All Ages
LAST night the Scone Horse Festival unveiled its new rebranding.
Tammy Selwood from the Ideation Group who developed the new visual branding said they had planned to launch the new materials for the 40th anniversary of the Festival, but the response from the committee was so positive they decided to run it this year.
“We did a branding workshop with about 30 people from the extended committee and we got some great feedback,” said Ms Selwood.
“From it we took that people wanted to put the fun back into the Festival and so we went with something with colour, that was bold and strong and the new brand reflects that it is contemporary, modern and versatile ,” she said.
“A good logo should last indefinitely with some minor tweaks as you go along,” she said.
“We’ve also launched a new website and added the .au to it and once the program is finalised it will go online and be that calendar of events for people to easily find what is on each day,” Tammy Selwood said.
Next year the Scone Horse Festival will be held from May 4-13.
