Farmers the Winner with Chicken Dinner
THE Belmore Hotel is running “Parma for a Famer” and has raised $1,672 for Rural Aid.
Romy Kelaher from the Belmore said they are encouraging customers to buy a parma for dinner or make a donation when they buy a drink.
“The drought is affecting so many people in our community and we have seen the difference with our business too,” said Ms Kelaher.
“This is just one small way to help by buying a parma, or a snitzel we will donate $2 from each meal to Rural Aid,” she said.
“And if you want something else on the menu or just dropping by for a beer we have a donation jar where you can put in some change,” she said.
“People have been really supportive and we are well stocked with parmas and we are hoping to reach $2,000 by the end of the promotion,” said Romy Kelaher.
The ‘Parma for a Farmer’ will wrap up on Sunday, September 30.
