Extra pick me up for Sconeites
SCONE Neighbourhood Resource Centre Manager Lee Watts will be joined by Jan, Jaala and Monica in opening the coffee van on Tuesday and Wednesday, for those who need an extra pick me up this week.
Ms Watts encouraged locals and visitors to support the coffee van, as all proceeds go towards community programs.
“It’s busy in Scone, there is an election with pre-poll at the Council building and it’s Horse Week so we have decided to be available to provide a pick me up on Tuesday and Wednesday morning,” Ms Watts said.
“Supporting our van enables the funds to go back into one of our programs such as the Morning Bites Breakfast Van, a program that provides a free breakfast to any child on their way to school. So if you are ever too busy or your child is not ready for breakfast we look forward to seeing them all,” she said.
“We love to see everyone and we are always up for a chat, so please come and support your local Neighbourhood Centre and do a coffee run tomorrow or Wednesday or both days,” said Ms Watts.
