Geraldton Open Day
Scone. NSW. 2337.
Bill and Sarah Howey will kindly open their home “Geraldton” to the whole community to help raise money for the local Australian Decorative and Fine Arts Association (ADFAS).
Geraldton is one of the oldest homes in Scone, built circa 1856 and orginally known as “Belmore Hourse’, in honour of the Governor of NSW the Earl of Belmore.
The beautiful gardens with huge trees and drought tolerant plantings will be available for everyone to enjoy.
Bill Howey will be available to talk about the fascinating history of the home and and its previous caretakers and Linda from Plants on Main will walk people through the garden and give advice on plants suitable for our area.
Sarah Howey will also be providing lunch in the courtyard for all of their guests for $15 and they encourage everyone to relax, catch up and enjoy some refreshingly green space during the drought.
- 10am – 4pm: Open Day at Geraldton for $5.
- 12pm – 2pm: Lunch is available in the courtyard for $15.
