Dust off the Bookshelves

ANTIQUE specialist Tony Thompson will be at the Scone literary long weekend and available to assess books, letters and all manner of ephemera.

Tom Thompson will be at the Festival to assess antique books and ephemera.

Tony will explain what to look for in terms of what is valuable and people may bring up to three items for his assessment.

Items which are sought after include anything written pre-1900, WWI and WWII items, first edition of the James Bond books and classics by Ion Idriess and Arthur Upfield.

If you have books or documents which are heavy or delicate Tony can assess photographs of the items.
