Drayton South Approved by Department

THE NSW Department of Planning has recommended the approval of the expansion of the Drayton South coal mine which employs more than 500 people.

However, the final decision for the approval of the expansion rests with the Planning Assessment Commission (PAC) which has previously rejected the proposal three times during the approval process.
