Delicious Dinner Plans
WHAT do you have planned for dinner tonight?
The Scone Neighbourhood Resource Centre and the Scone Library invite you to have dinner with them to celebrate Harmony Day and enjoy some deliciously diverse cuisine.
Lee Watts, manger of the Centre said each year the event grows in dishes and people.
“It is wonderful that we can hold the event at the Scone Grammar School where there is plenty of room, so everyone is welcome,” said Mrs Watts.
“Last year’s very successful evening was attended by many people from a wide variety of backgrounds to share food such as Nepalese Chicken, South African Boototie, Singapore Noodles, curries, meat pies and much more,” she said.
“This year there are lots of great things on the menu and if you have a special dish you’d like to bring we’d still love to hear from you this morning, it’s not too late,” she said.
“We encourage people to come in their national dress and people might even like to have a go at playing some Japanese drums,” she said.
“It is definitely an event I look forward to each year to catch up with people from throughout the community over a great meal,” Lee Watts said.
