Cricket Gala Day

THE annual Gala Cricket will take place on Saturday, January 28 and will replace the usual competition.

This year there will be a women’s competition held separately to the open competition.

It is most important that women wishing to take part should notify your intentions to officials, so that a draw and grounds can be organised.

Teams of seven will compete in limited overs games, with six bowlers, each bowling an over each game, and the batting order rotating with each game.

Regn is $100 and each team receives a ball.

Women’s competition will use a modified ball and regn fees may also be adjusted.

Sign on will commence at 8am and play begins at 9am on the day.

Numerous prizes will be awarded following the competition – with team / batting and bowling all receiving awards.

Presentations of awards will take place immediately after the finals at the Scone RSL.

All award winners MUST be present to collect prizes.
