Filed in Just In by September 17, 2021

THE Premier said the government is working towards reopening international borders when the state reaches 80 percent double vaccination and will be trialing a home quarantine system beginning at the end of the month.

The trial will include 175 people, including people returning to regional NSW and using a new facial recognition and location based application, to allow police to check compliance.

New South Wales has quarantined more than 250,000 Australians returning home, since the pandemic began, more than all other states in Australia combined.
