Covid: Hunter New England now highest covid rate
THE Hunter New England Health district now has the most number of covid cases in the state, with 103 new cases in the past 24 hours, while other Sydney health districts are declining in numbers.
Of the 103 new cases in Hunter New England Health district, 53 were in isolation for their entire infectious period, 41 were infectious in the community and nine are still under investigation.

- 711 people are hospitalised
- 143 people are in intensive care
- 75 people are being ventilated
