HUNTER New England Health has recorded 51 new covid cases in the past 24 hours and there are currently 1121 active cases active cases in the area.
Of the 51 new cases, one was in the Muswellbrook local government area, bringing the total number of active cases to 26.
In the local health district 26 people are hospitalised and four people are in intensive care.
