Covid: Even at 80 percent unvaccinated won’t enjoy freedoms
PREMIER Gladys Berejiklian was at the media conference this morning, but has said she “won’t necessarily be here.”
The Premier said while there was a freedom extended today for some fully vaccinated people, she urged, “please don’t get complacent, do not let your guard down” and cautioned that “the hospital system will come under increasing stress as we open up.”
She warned people who are unvaccinated, “don’t assume that at 80 percent double vaccination, unvaccinated will have those freedoms.”
The government have not yet defined what restrictions will be eased at 80 percent double vaccination rates.
