Convoy Leaves for Fire Ground
WHAT started as an effort by an Aberdeen dairy farmer to raise $700 for families affected by the Sir Ivan fire became a convoy of hay, fencing supplies and fencing volunteers this morning.
The convoy which was led by the Kingdon Ponds Rural Bush Fire Brigade began at the Scone sale yards and will make its way through Aberdeen and Muswellbrook gathering more trucks laden with donated goods, before heading to Uarbry.
