THE Commonwealth bank have made a generous $500 donation to the Scone Neighbourhood Resource Centre (SNRC), which will go towards lifting Christmas spirit in the community.
“Christmas is usually a happy time of the year but that is not the case for everyone, many of our clients do not enjoy Christmas they often go without a Christmas lunch or a gift under the tree,” said SNRC Manager, Lee Watts.
“”We are thankful to the Commonwealth Bank . . . this generous donation will put a smile on many children’s faces Christmas morning,” she said.
“The money will be used to purchase additional items for food hampers and purchase gifts for Christmas.
“If you are finding life is all a little too hard at the moment please reach out by phoning 6545 2562 or calling into the centre and chatting to staff,” said Ms Watts.
