Christmas in July Markets
WHILE the snow machine was much, much smaller than expected, the children still had a ball at the Christmas in July markets.
There were more than 20 stalls including mulled wine, warm drinks, wool and sweets.
This year the Mayor unwrapped five hire bikes for everyone to share.
The bikes were purchased from the local sports store and there are other equipment hire in the pipeline.
Jan Sinclair, tourism and events coordinator for the Upper Hunter Shire Council said the markets had been a great success.
“What’s nice is that people have arrived and stayed for the afternoon to enjoy the markets,” said Ms Sinclair.
“It has been a really nice afternoon and we’ll definitely be running them again,” Jan Sinclair said.
