Christmas Hamper Help
THE Scone Neighbourhood Centre (SNRC) is busy packing Christmas hampers, an annual tradition that provides for those who may not be able afford Christmas lunch or a gift under the tree.
There is a slight shortage of items this year, so the SNRC is asking the community for a little help.
SNRC Manager, Lee Watts said, “if you are in a position to add an extra item to your trolley, the Neighbourhood Centre would really appreciate your support in filling the Christmas Hampers currently being put together for those most vulnerable in our community right now.”
“Thank you to those who have donated, anyone who is in a position to help can drop in anytime this week or next week during opening hours,” she said.
Gifts and food can be dropped at the SNRC at 130 Liverpool Street, Scone and the hampers will start to go out on December 18.
“If you are finding life is all a little too hard at the moment please reach out by phoning 6545 2562 or calling into the centre and chatting to staff,” said Mrs Watts.
