Chance to Meet New Candidates

OF the 13 candidates running in the Upper Hunter Shire Council elections seven are new to local politics and the Scone Chamber of Commerce and Industry encourages people to attend a candidate forum tonight to get to know all of the candidates.

Ben Wyndham, president of the Chamber said it was a great opportunity to meet the new candidates.

“There are more fresh candidates than before so it is especially important,” said Mr Wyndham.

“We are looking forward to discussing the possible shape of the new Council,” he said.

The Chamber has received several questions from the community to pose to the candidates and questions from the floor this evening will also be encouraged.

• WHERE: St Luke’s Hall, Crn Liverpool and Hill Street, Scone.
