Celebrating 32 and 81 Years!
THERE were two special birthdays celebrated at Holbrook Thoroughbreds today, with Misty the quarter horse turning 32 and Madge Harris, her owner, turning 81.

Murrumbidgee Morning Mist won numerous champion quarter horse classes and has been the VIP Horse for Bev Adams, Nickie Cramsie and the late Cliff Ellis in the Scone Horse Parade.
Madge Harris also has credentials in the equine competition world as the 1955 Champion Girl Rider at the Sydney Royal Easter Show and Champion Lady Rider in 1961 and 1965.
When Madge was awarded Horse Festival VIP, fittingly, she rode Missy.
Missy’s favourite treat is apples and Madge is looking forward to a small stout tonight.
