Single Car Collision at Middlebrook Roundabout
AT approximately 9:20pm last night a 20 year old male driver from Merriwa careered over the Middlebrook roundabout, hit the medium strip and became airborne, then colliding with a guide rail and coming to a stop at the top of the gully.
The police report states the driver had momentarily looked down before driving over the roundabout and was travelling at approximately 60 kilometres an hour.
The driver and a 17 year old female passenger from Scone were both taken to the Scott Memorial Hospital in Scone for treatment of minor injuries.
The driver underwent a blood test and police are awaiting results before determining if charges may be laid.

- The front end of the car was totalled.
