THE Merriwa campdraft scheduled for this weekend has been postponed until November 5 and 6 due to wet weather.
The Merriwa Campdraft has been postponed.
Roger Moore, president of the Merriwa Campdraft committee said they could not secure enough cattle.
“Because of the weather we couldn’t get half of our cattle off the properties,it’s just too wet to get the trucks into the paddocks,” said Mr Moore.
“We need a few weeks of dry weather before the next campdraft,” Roger Moore said.
Campdrafts Cancelled:
- Rouchel campdraft: scheduled for October 8 and 9 – cancelled.
- Wingen campdraft: scheduled for October 15 and 16 – cancelled.
