Calling Teams for Gala Day

THE Upper Hunter Cricket Association usually hold their gala day on Australia Day, but this year it will be held on Saturday, January 28.

The day is a seven aside cricket tournament and will be held on the wickets at the Scone Sporting complex, using all three grass wickets plus the synthetic Logan Oval wickets.

Teams can be nominated using the My Cricket web site or registered at 8.00am on the day.

Each team will receive a new ball with the nomination fee of $100 paid.

For each game each of six players will bowl one over and the batting order rotates so all team members get a turn.

Teams will play a number of games to reach a final and play begins at 9am.

Prizes for bowling and batting will be awarded and the Presentations will take place at Scone RSL immediately after the finals.

Both men’s and women’s teams are welcome.
