Calling Campers to Burn Bright
THE Young Endeavour Scheme has given many local youth the chance to set sail and learn new life skills, but after 20 years the Upper Hunter Shire Council has changed tack and will now offer local youth the chance to be part of the Burn Bright Camp in the July school holidays.
The Burn Bright team have run popular courses for local students as part of the Where There’s A Will positive education program and now local students aged between 15 and 18 years can apply to the Upper Hunter Shire Council to attend four day camp in Arcadia near Sydney.
The Camp focuses on values, service, grit and vision, with motivational speakers and fun activities in a safe, collaborative environment.
All camp costs including transport will be covered by the Council.
