Introducing the 2016 Calendar Boys
THE Scone and Upper Hunter Horse Festival “Studs of the Upper Hunter” calendar was launched last night at the Vinery Stud.
The calendar is from May 2016 – May 2017 featuring horsemen of the Upper Hunter and is on sale throughout events at the Scone and Upper Horse Festival, the Visitor Information Centre, the local newsagencies and the Scone Neighbourhood Centre.
Lauren Taylor, member of the Horse Festival Committee said the local men who participated in the calendar were good sports and they hope the local community supports the new calendar to raise money for thee worthy charities.
“The Committee would like to thank all of the ‘studs’ who are a part of the calendar this year,” said Ms Taylor.
“They were all really good sports, we couldn’t have asked for nicer gentleman to be in our calendar and luckily they’re all pretty easy on the eye too,” she said.
“Most importantly, the calendar will be raising money for three very worthy charities – Riding for the Disabled, Variety and the Olivia Inglis Eventing Scholarship in memory of the young rider Olivia Inglis who was recently killed in a riding accident at the Scone Horse Trials,” she said.
“The calendar will be on sale for $20 at local newsagencies, the Visitor Information Centre, the Neighbourhood Centre and at various events throughout the Scone Horse Festival,” Lauren Taylor said.
The calendar starts in May 2016 and goes through to May 2017 so it can be hung up straight away.
