Boil Water Alert Over For Murrurundi
MURRURUNDI’S water supply has been manually switched and is now being sourced from the Pages River infiltration gallery, ending the boiled water alert.
The Upper Hunter Shire Council have announced the water is now being stored, chlorinated and coming out of taps, thanks to the storage tanks along the Murrurundi pipeline, which serve as a back up water supply.
Council have advised that Aberdeen and Scone are still on boiled water alert for drinking and food preparation until further notice.
