Better Finances in the Neighbourhood
THE Scone Neighbourhood Resource Centre is running a series of free financial workshops to help local people get a better bottom line.
Lee Watts, manager of the Centre, said the workshops were recommended by another Neighbourhood Resource Centre and she could see the benefits for our community.
“Not a lot of people take the time to look further ahead, because they are so busy with the day to day of living,
The topics we have chosen span across everyone in the community, no matter what stage of life you are at, including young people learning to budget and save for a house, women in business, planning a future for your children and planning for aged care.
The trainer is associated with a superannuation company, but the focus is not on superannuation, it is about helping people at all stages of life to think about their finances and understand how to better plan their finances,
