Bengalla to Resume Tomorrow

BENGALLA have issued a statement to say they will begin loading trains later today and have staff on from this evening assessing operations.

The first shift back on-site will be at 7am tomorrow.

Cam Halfpenny, CEO of Bengalla said staff have been diligently responding with heavy hearts to the tragic incident on Saturday night at the mine.

“First and foremost Bengalla will continue to support Quinton’s (Quinton Moore) family, our staff and suppliers as we come together at this difficult time.

“Bengalla’s priorities are clear: Foremost is the wellbeing of those affected and our people…Second, full cooperation with the ongoing investigations. Third, to resume operations safely and slowly from today,” Cam Halfpenny said.
