AJ search volunteers to get covid tested

VOLUNTEERS in the search for Anthony AJ Elfalak have been recommended to self-isolate and be tested for covid.

Hunter New England Health (HNEH) have advised while they are not aware of any positive cases at the search, they are concerned about possible transmission due to:

• some members of the search being from Local Government Areas of concern, such as Western Sydney;
• limited mask wearing, and
• the close working proximity of volunteers.

HNEH has advised all volunteers should self-isolate until a negative test is received and have another test in five days.
