Accident Near Parkville

THE Westpac Rescue Helicopters from Newcastle and Tamworth have been called to a motor vehicle accident near Parkville, which occurred at 8am this morning.

Both lanes of traffic on the New England Highway are closed.

Light traffic is being diverted through Middlebrook Road and Cressfield Road.

Heavy vehicles are being diverted via Merriwa to reach Willow Tree or Scone.
