Pilot is Well
DAVID Boundy from Superair, has confirmed their pilot is well, following his plane going down this morning at 10:41.
“The pilot is ok, I’ve been speaking with him this morning, he’s just had to put it down in a paddock and the aircraft has sustained some damage, but he’s ok,” said Mr Boundy.
“Obviously someone who was on the ground reported it so as a precautionary measure they have sent the chopper into the area,” he said.
Update 12:26pm:
The Westpac Rescue Helicopter has further provided further information that the plane was spreading super phosphate and following engine failure the pilot had to make an emergency landing on a property at David Creek.
The plane has been damaged but the pilot has no injuries.
