ON Saturday April 9 there was a good field of men and four ladies playing stableford events at Scone Golf Course.
In the men’s event grade prizes were distributed for the Clayton Rogers Trophy.
Jim Elder had the best score of the day with 43 points to win C Grade.
He also won the NTP on the 2nd / 11th with a shot to 0.69 metres, which won him the jackpot of 7 balls.
Phil McGuirk had 41 points to be the B Grade winner, whilst Mick Alsleben’s 38 points won the A Grade prize.
Mick also won the 8th / 17th NTP at 2.64 metres.
Ball winners were: Jim Elder 43, Phil McGuirk 41, Red Palmer, Tim Smith 39, Mick Alsleben 38, Paul Smart, Graham White 37, David Druce, Scott Reid 36, Jeff Harrington, John Roe, Scott Lye, Adrian Fuller 35 and Brenan Reeves 33 on a countback.
In the ladies 18 Hole Stableford Jo Brown had the best score of 35 points narrowly from Julie Leckie 34.
On Saturday April 16 the men will play an 18 Hole Stableford for the Steve Morse, Alan Wood and Col Solway Trophy. It will also be round 1 of the Isis Motel FBBB Championships in A, B and C Grades.
