Last Minute Easter Shopping

TODAY the Easter Bunny had hopped into a local supermarket for some last minute chocolate gathering when he was glad to bump into a local correctional officer.

While the rabbit is less dogmatic about the naughty list than Santa, he still likes to be aware of who has not been well behaved and distributes chocolate accordingly.

Neil Backhouse, local correctional officer, said the Easter Bunny always checks the Upper Hunter naughty list with them.

scone.com.au was surprised to learn that the local correctional facility emails through a list to the Easter Bunny each year.

Another little known fact is that the rabbit has been known to take chocolate away from children who are being naughty over Easter.

Children usually assume it is their sibling or a family pet that has eaten their missing chocolate, but if they have been naughty after the eggs have been delivered, the chocolate may have been taken back by the Easter Bunny.

So it is important children continue to be good even after the eggs have been delivered.

For now though the Easter Bunny is stocking up on chocolate and has deals with chocolate outlets throughout the world which allow him complete access to all chocolate supplies over the Easter period.
