Covid: Weddings and funerals
TODAY at the Premier’s media conference it was stated that people who were not fully vaccinated could attend weddings and funerals from Monday, October 11, however the following was later posted on the NSW Government website:
- Weddings ceremonies permitted with density limit for up to 100 people (5-person limit for people who are not fully vaccinated).
- Funerals permitted with density limit for up to 100 people (10-person limit for people who are not fully vaccinated) and eating and drinking must be seated.
Note these government statements stipulate “not fully vaccinated,” which may be different to “unvaccinated” people. It does not stipulated if “unvaccinated” people may attend, compared to people who may only have received one vaccination but are not “fully vaccinated”. Other information on the government website stipulates the easing of restrictions are only for “fully vaccinated” people at 70 and 80 percent.
