LAST night Hunter New England Health advised the Muswellbrook Fair Shopping Centre is a venue of concern.

Anyone who was in the shopping center during the following times is asked to monitor for any symptoms and get tested immediately if you have even the mildest symptoms:
- 12pm-1pm, Wednesday, September 22;
- 10am-11am, Thursday, September 23, and
- 7:30am-8am, Friday, September 24.
UPDATE: Hunter New England Health have confirmed they have listed the entire centre as a precaution, while the venues contact tracing team are undertaking risk assessments for a couple of venues in the centre. At this stage they are considered to be low risk, but if that changes HNEH will advise the community further.
PLEASE NOTE: NSW Health assesses if an area based on the risk of community transmission, not simply case numbers. If people test for the mildest symptoms and isolate, cases can be identified early and community transmission can be prevented, which will also keep the region out of lockdown.
