Covid case in Muswellbrook

HUNTER New England Health have confirmed a case of covid has been identified in Muswellbrook.

Marianne Gale, Deputy Chief Medical Officer, was asked why Tamworth was not going into lockdown after a case had been identified and explained, “in some areas there may be a case but if they’re isolated….no broader exposure risk to the community a return to stay at home orders is not what we’d be recommending.”
