Update: Bypass accident

NSW Ambulance have confirmed the three people involved in this afternoon’s accident on the Scone bypass only sustained minor injuries and were not taken to hospital.

Emergency services were called to the southern interchange of the bypass at approximately 3:50pm following an accident between a semi-trailer and an orange dual cab utility.

Both vehicles were heading in a southbound direction, affecting traffic in one lane of the highway.

It is the fourth accident to occur at the southern interchange since the bypass opened in March last year.

The accident occurred at the southern interchange of the Scone bypass.
