Veterans Golf Report December 22

FIFTEEN Vets checked their rain gear came at Aberdeen Golf Club on Tuesday, December 22 for their stroke and putting event for Xmas prizes.
Get well soon Captain Phil Ledgerwood and President Paul Gorman. The course is in magnificent condition thanks to the many volunteers and the 40mm of rain over night.
Paul Constable won the day with nett 73 from Dave Kerr 75 2nd, Phil Tarrant 3rd 76 C/B and Terry Mitchell 4th 76.
Balls went to new member Dave Taylor, Tony Pearson and Bruce Robinson all on 77.
The Bradman’s trophy, kindly donated by Gary Morley was won by Rod Upton.
The best scratch score was recorded by Terry Mitchell with 82 C/B. The putting wine was won by Emil Battista with 24 putts and a couple of chip-ins.
