AT approximately 2am the Westpac Rescue Helicopter was tasked on an urgent medical retrieval to Muswellbrook Hospital to transfer a 75 year old female suffering from a medical condition.
She was transferred to John Hunter Hospital, where she will receive required specialist treatment.
The patient was stabilised by the John Hunter Hospital retrieval team prior to the flight to Newcastle.
