Breakthrough in saddlery break in
A 32 year old Taminda man was arrested at 1pm this afternoon in relation to the Marsh Carney Saddlery break and enter in Scone on October 27.
The man was arrested in Tamworth and charged with break and enter and steal, after he allegedly smashed the store’s window and stole up to $10,000 worth of stock, including Resistol brand hats.
He was refused bail and will appear at Tamworth Local Court later this afternoon.
Police are under the impression a number of the stolen hats were distributed to people in Scone and Muswellbrook.
They are asking anyone with information in relation to the stolen goods, to contact Hunter Valley Police on 026545 6999 or Crime Stoppers on 1800 333 000.
