Draft Designs For Murrurundi Skate Park
THE Upper Hunter Shire Council are inviting locals to provide feedback on the draft designs for the Murrurundi skate park, which are now on display on Council’s website under ‘Hot Topics’.
After two rounds of community consultation, the initial concept design incorporates elements of street style skating and include an open plan bowl with two down rails.
The proposed location for the skate park is next to Wilson Memorial Oval, near the Murrurundi Youth Centre and the Learn to Ride bike track, which is still under design, is proposed to be located in the fenced playground area at Wilson Park.
Residents have until and October 19 to comment on the designs via Council’s website.
Feedback can be made via email at council@upperhunter.nsw.gov.au, by postage to PO Box 208, Scone NSW 2337 or by dropping off a letter to a Council office.
