Westpac Tasked To Merriwa

THE Westpac Rescue Helicopter was called to the Merriwa Hospital at approximately 9:40 this morning to transfer an 84 year old man to the John Hunter Hospital in Newcastle.

The man is suffering a medical condition requiring specialist treatment and was flown to Newcastle in a stable condition.
