Inspiring Isabella: Scone’s Starlight Super Swimmer

TWELVE year old, Isabella Henderson, loves swimming and is only three kilometres away from achieving her goal to swim 50 kilometres in 30 days and raise money for children in hospital.

“I started on the 26th of January and I’m swimming until the 24th,” said Isabella.

“I’ve got a big country carnival in Sydney tomorrow and every time I swim in a race or warm up it all counts towards it,” she said.

Isabella Henderson, is beaming with only 4 kilometres left to go.

Isabella has smashed her fundraising goal, having already raised $2,325!

“My goal was to raise $500 and I’ve definitely gone over that, so I’ve helped 50 kids,” she smiled.

“Thank you so much, from the bottom of my heart to everybody who has donated, it’s so lovely that people have helped me,” she said.

“I’ve always loved swimming and this is such a beautiful cause,” said Isabella.
